Philip isn’t being rebellious. He isn’t mocking. He’s tired. He’s confused. Jesus has been talking about leaving, about betrayal, about the way, the truth, and the life. Philip finally says what many of us have thought but maybe never said out loud:
“Jesus… just make it clear. Give us proof. Show us God. Then we’ll be good.”
And that sentence—“that will be enough for us”—reveals something deep about the human heart.
